Celebration Evening 2010
On Tuesday, 13 July Rawlins held our annual evening to celebrate the achievements of our students across the year. Seventy seven students were invited along to the event, which was expertly hosted by year 12 students Peter Vallis and Harriet North, to receive their well deserved awards and to enjoy an evening of entertainment.
Highlights of the evening included fantastic musical performances from Nina Condron, Lizzie Bywater-Florance, Ashleigh Cramman and student band "Faces for Radio", along with RAW TV's superb round-up of the year edited by Chris Moore.
House trophies were also awarded, with this years overall winners being Swithland. The evening ended with the presentation of the annual Governors Award, this year being won by Christian Hewgill, with Alex Smith and Matthew Lunn as runners-up.
Many thanks to all who were involved in organising the event, including technical support from Ollie Bloor, Chris Moore and Dave Cooper, and musical accompaniment from Ted Ragg and Michael Fenton.
